Creating a Gender Equitable & Inclusive Response to GBV in Kenya
Gender-Based Violence (GBV) is a persistent crisis that worsens during emergencies, disproportionately affecting women, girls, persons with disabilities, and marginalized groups. In response, GROOTS Kenya, in collaboration with the Women’s Refugee Commission, Pastoralist Girl Initiative, Plan International, ActionAid Kenya, and other key partners, has played a critical role in shaping localized, gender-equitable GBV interventions.
