The movement is committed to addressing barriers to economic inclusion, with a focus on land rights, participation in agricultural value chains, financial and digital inclusion, and strengthened networks.

Gender Injustices Eliminated

GROOTS Kenya recognizes that patriarchal biases and intersecting systems of oppression, including religious extremism and capitalism, are deeply embedded in society and continue to fuel gender-based violence, discrimination, and the violation of women’s and girls’ rights. The movement therefore affirms that achieving its vision requires creating safe, just, and enabling environments free from all forms of gender injustice.
