GROOTS Kenya is proud to be hosting a delegation from the Ugandan Ministry of Agriculture, Department of Extension Services and the Laikipia Department of Agriculture in Nakuru County on a learning visit about Demand Driven Extension Services that has been successfully implemented in the project 'Accelerating Rural Women's Access to Agricultural Markets and Trade' in both Nakuru and Kitui Counties. The delegation toured four households belonging to four women farmers in the project who are in both the dairy and horticulture value chains and have worked hand in hand with the agriculture extension officers
