Rukia Kunyo Guyo

Rukia Kunyo Guyo, from Tana River County, Tana North Sub-County, Madogo Ward, joined Groots Kenya in 2017 and was selected as a coordinator in Tana North Sub-County. She is a member of the COTU Women as a treasurer in the region and a member nationally. She is fighting to stop GBV in workplaces. In 2021, she was awarded by the state as a heroine for fighting against early marriages, pregnancy, FGM, and promoting girl child education. She is also a peace actor and a GBV champion in Tana River County.
