Naomi Wanjiku Njuguna

Naomi Wanjiku Njuguna is a land and budget champion advocating for women's land rights and trains the community to participate in public participation.
She is a member of the Gatugi Women's Banana Project from Kigumo Ward, Murang'a County. Naomi joined GROOTS Kenya in 2015 under the Public Land Mapping Project and has served as a land board member for three years.
Naomi is also a member of the County Agricultural Sector Steering Committee (CASCOM) in the County Agricultural Sector, and through the REEP project, she has done banana production and value addition.
Naomi has participated as a panelist in the Africa Green Revolution Forum in Rwanda and has completed virtual leadership training from Cody University in Canada. She is a Community Health Volunteer and takes a firm stance against gender-based violence.
