Jelimo Samoei is a GROOTS Kenya Champion from Nakuru County's, and Chamtany Women's Group. She joined the Groots Kenya Movement in 2014 during the Access to Market program. She has been a board member of several schools, such as Cheptoroi Secondary School for two terms, Lawina Primary, and Kiplelmoi Water Project. She is also a budget champion and a Certificate holder from the Center of Enhancing Democracy and Good Governance (CEDGG). Additionally, she is a politician fighting for Women's leadership, a driver with a driving license, and has a passport that allows her to travel anywhere in the world. Currently, she is a student at Atlas Computer College's Eburgon Branch.
