Humphrey Muriuki Ngaine is a GROOTS Kenya GBV responder and Men for Women Champion from Limuru East Ward, Kiambu County. He joined GROOTS Kenya in 2012 through the Women Leadership and Governance Program and is a member of Limuru Pillars of Change C.B.O. He coordinates Men for Women activities in Limuru, Kiambu County, and as a Men for Women Champion, he is particularly interested in women in leadership roles and wholeheartedly supports them. By providing essential knowledge and instruction, he assists women in accessing affirmative action money. In addition, he serves as a board member of the Limuru Model Primary School and Utugi Angels, a home for young adults with disabilities, and he is the patron of the Karanjee Village Welfare Group, a group with over 600 members that promotes village welfare. He was the first Limuru East Ward Manager and served between 2013-2017 and currently serves as the Women Enterprise Fund Officer for Limuru. Humphrey has represented GROOTS Kenya at regional and national conferences, including one in Jordan for the International Land Coalition, Kituo Cha Sheria in association with the UNDP Kenya Amkeni Wakenya; UNDP, the Nairobi Safari Club's Paralegal Society of Kenya (PSK) and Men for Women Exchange in Kakamega.
