Beatrice Wangari Karema

Beatrice Wangari Karema from Laikipia County, Laikipia East Sub-County, Umande Ward is GROOTS Kenya’s Ward Coordinator, GBV Champion, and Budget Champion. She joined Groots Kenya in 2014 during the Women and Leadership Program. She is the treasurer of Umande Ward Chapter, a Cereal Growers Association (CGA). In church, she is a Committee Member of the Mother’s Union.
In 2008, she was trained in Channel of Hope (COH) to fight the HIV/AIDS pandemic, and she is now training people.
